Sultartanga canal
Sudurverk made the tailrace canal that exits the powerhouse at Sultartangi powerplant. The project started in august 1997 and ended in oktober 1999. Measuring just over 7.2 km in length, the canal follows the course of the river Thjorsa towards the Burfell dam.
Materials removed from the ditch were 1.400.000 m³ of loose materials and 1.700.00 m³ of blasted rock. The client was the National Power Company.
