Karahnjukar dams
The work included the construction of two dams at Karahnjukar, Desjarardalur dam and Saudardalur dam. The work began in April 2004 and was completed in August 2007. Quantities are excavation 610,000 m³ and 4,100,000 m³ of landfill, also som grouting work.
The client was the National Power Company and the contract value was 30 million $. Sudurverk ran a man camp near Karahnjukar during the construction time, which usually attended by a hundred workers.
